European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology was founded in 1864 as Archiv für Ohrenheilkunde by A. von Tr?ltsch A. Politzer and H. Schwartze. For further information concerning the history of the journal see the back matter in No. 10 of each volume. Aims and scope The European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology is a distinguished international journal that publishes original clinical reports and clinically relevant experimental studies as well as short communications presenting new results of special interest. Founded in 1864 the journal has continued to serve as a source of useful clinical information and as a stimulus for scientific discussion for more than a century. With peer review by a respected international editorial board and prompt English-language publication the Archives provides rapid dissemination of clinical and clinically related information by authors from throughout the world.
